ITALY WORLD CHAMPION !!!! (and Poland :)

Milan, 9-7-2006

POLSKI HYMN, ITALIAN HYMN

A curiosity. The anthems of these two nations seem linked, 'cause Polish one says:
"...z ziemi wloskiej do Polski..." (we came to Poland from Italian land)
And in the full version of the Italian there is:
"...il sangue d'Italia, il sangue polacco..." (blood of Italy, Polish blood)

Mister Noel Gallagher of Oasis brought luck to Italian team of his friend Del Piero.

I'll always remember this night inside this...casino :). As you can see from these psychadelic photos, it seemed a dream. A special atmosphere that Italian people felt for 4 times (1934-1938-1982-2006), and french people only 1 time! ihihihihi (1998, because they played at home...)

Maybe he lost the keys? :) (German goalkeeper)

Autunno in Toscana...

La Toscana è bella d'autunno.
Puoi camminare lungo i sentieri
I fichi pendono dolci dai rami

Ehm...cos'ho bevuto stasera?

ENGLAND WEARS ARMANI

England national football team chose Italian fashion for their World Cup wardrobe in Germany, beginning on 9th June, as they did in Euro 2004. Italian team chose Dolce&Gabbana, but Giorgio Armani created this suit for England: he will kit out the boys in classic navy blue suits plus casual wear. Armani said he was proud to dress the heroes. Football players today have become as models on catwalks, as David Beckham sometimes did. Sweden manager Eriksson said: "with these clothes we'll be the best-dressed team in Germany".

I totally despise what's happening in Italian football in these days, anyway the team I'm a fan of, especially in World Cup, is always England. I really want a final match England-Argentina, as in '86, but with a goal scored by Rooney at last minute :). It's really a pity that Owen is injured again :-(.
Anyway, c'mon lions!!!

We can be heroes, just for one day...
...the Seine was on their side,
but we're gonna beat them,
forever and ever...
